Our Class Will
We the class of 1961; of the Satanta Rural High School, being of comparatively sound mind,
with a few well known exceptions do hereby declare and offer this as our last will and testament, to endure now and forever, changing never and in which we give, bestow, bequeath, and donate our myriad possessions and super sparkling talents as follow:
To the Juniors we will all our old test papers.
To the Sophomores the Senior class wills their ability to skip classes.
To the Freshman class we will our ability to get through four years of
high school without studying.
Anne Taton wills her ability to have fun during the noon hour to Jeannie Lewis.
Dane Selby wills his ability to copy stories in English to the Junior class.
Dale Stephens wills his ability to work to Tim Scarbrough.
Dennis Black wills his ability to grow to Jerry Gormly.
Cheryl Hunter wills her ability to cheat in American History without getting
caught to Eugene VanCampen. Maybe he will not get his paper thrown away like
she did.
Ella Mae Jones wills to Butch Conover her everlasting ability to do everything
she attempts backwards. May he have as much luck with his flops as she did
with hers.
David Dickey wills his ability to dent fenders to Jackie Davis.
Beverly Weber wills to Dana Gales her ability to go steady with one boy and date
her sister's steady.
Lois Ann Davison wills her ability to go with out of town boys to Ellen Caskey.
Kenneth Caskey wills his ability to have Mr. Howard pick on him to James Midgley.
Gary Harlow wills all his old cigars to Donny Hockett.
Jack Abbott wills his shot putting ability to James Brownlee.
Donna Unger wills her naturally curly hair to Jo Anne Williams. She hopes she
has better luck than she did.
Beverly Callis wills her ability to go steady with a boy in military school to
Maggie Brown.
Tom Long wills his basketball suit to Ronnie Oliver.
Phyllis Turley wills her ability to run around the halls during class time to Sue
Sutton.
Jim Garner wills his saxophone to Mike Blair.
David Selby wills his right hook to John Anderson and hopes that he does as well
with it as David did.
Sharon Scarbrough wills to Janice Wilhite her ability to eat crackers in study
hall. But a word of advice to Janice - This ability didn't work for Sharon, so
watchout.
John Bush wills his short legs to David Curry.
LeRoy Davis wills his ability to pole vault to Roy Schroeder.
Mary Ann Reimer wills her ability to have a Missouri boyfriend to Martha Theilen.

Joe Clem wills his ability to go to Cities Service every night to Jack Blair.
Beth Ann Willett wills her ability to always have her work in on time to Betty
Sue Dougherty.
Bertha Stapp wills her ability to get long-distance telephone calls to Patty
Winter. Bertha hopes that Patty gets even more than she did.
Sharon Gales wills her ability to meet new boys to Anita Giles.
Lastly, we do make and ordain Mr. Howard to be the only and sole executor of this, our last will and testament. We hereby utterly disallow, revoke, and annul each and every other former testament, will, legacies and executors by us in anyway before this named willed and bequeathed. Ratifying and confirming this and no other to be our last will and testament, whereof we have set our hands and seal, this 16th day of May, in the year of our Lord, Nineteen hundred and sixty-one.
